For the uninitiated, the red string of fate is the belief that everyone’s pinky finger is tied to an invisible thread, one that will inevitably lead you to your destined person. Deeply rooted in East Asian culture, the myth appears to have struck a chord with none other than the Swoosh, as they’re paying homage to it with the newly-revealed Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day.” While much of the shoe is understated in form — consisting almost entirely of neutral colors — the pair does visualize the legend across its insoles, depicting two hands connected by said imperceptible cord. What's more, the latter also wraps around the Swoosh of the adjacent tongue label.
